In 2010 I had the privilege of serving as one of the shower coordinators at Kensington Woods church of Christ! Honestly, I love coordinating the food, decorating, ect... in preparation for showers. I also enjoy sharing my pewter trays and bowls for the shower food!
Baby & Bridal Church Shower Ideas Food:
Option 1: Cake, Punch, Nuts or Mints (SAMS makes good sheet cakes. I normally would do a sheet cake or 2 tiered from a bakery).
Option 2: Cake, Punch, Chicken Salad Sandwiches (Newk's sells chicken salad in a container and I spread the chicken salad on croissants from Walmart or SAMS), Frito's Corn Chips & Corn Dip, Cranberry Vinaigrette Salad, Fruit Tray & Fruit Dip (Walmart or SAMS)
Decoration Ideas:
Wedding Shower - I used pewter serving trays with a center piece in the middle of 2 rectangular food tables. We put the cake & punch on a round table. The food table & tables to seat church members are covered with white paper table cloths (6 per pack SAMS) and have a vase with 2 carnations and a candle on each side with tool as a table runner. The gifts were placed on a rectangular table covered with a table cloth.
